Mr. Canny having received premptory orders from the Board to punish all persons in the habit of shooting without having previously obtained a Certificate for that purpose, hereby gives notice that he will prosecute to the utmost rigour all persons against whom Information to that effect may be filed, or who have been found to act in any manner contrary to the Game Act.

A List of the Names and places of abode of the several persons who have taken out Certificates for killing Game agreeable to the Act of Parliament from the Distributor of Stamps for the County of Clare.

The several Inspectors with Distributors of Stamp Duties have received the most positive directions and will strictly put in practice the different Acts of Parliament against all persons disobeying such Acts or who shall not immediately take out such Licenses pursuant to Law.

And the Inspector now on Duty on this District as well as the Distributor of Stamp Duties have positive Directions to FINE all Persons who shall keep or use DOGS, GUNS or NETS for the TAKING or KILLING of GAME without being duly Licensed to do so.

It being the positive Orders of the Board to Prosecute all persons offending against the Game Act, the Distributor requests that such Gentlemen in his District as have not taken out their respective Certificates for the present year will immediately do so, and not put him to the necessity of enforcing the penalties which is rendered imperative on him from the shameful manner in which the Law is at present observed in this District.
