SOME 4 years ago, a man by the name of JAS. MADDEN, from near Boston, Mass, came to Keokuk, Iowa, bought, and entered a farm of land, some 320 acres, about 90 miles from this place, situate near Ottumwa, on the Demoins River, and for which he paid considerable money. Not having been seen or heard from since he left here, the subscriber feels uneasy about him; and being desirous to secure for him or his friends the land which is partly paid for, he takes this method as being the most expedient to inform the said Madden or his representatives, that unless he or they come forward soon, and substantiate this, that the land will be sold.
